Pieces of me………

I’ve been recieving invitations to join this tickle.com thingy…….I went to the website and hmmmmm…..it’s something like beebo, friendster, hi5, sms.ac….and the list can go on and on…..the people who have been inviting me to these groups are the same people in my friendster and hi5 list. Gheezzzz how many groups does these people want to maintain?……. I wonder…..

The website is flooded with all this stuff and people just register, register, register and then abandon, abandon, abandon…..sigh….can’t we just stick to 1 thing and make the very best out of that thing? or is it just because others have it, we want to have it too?……..boy i am grumpy today……..arghhhhhh……….so whats next? Haha dot com?

I woke up on Monday and the headlines of every newspaper read 7 killed in road accident. I read on further and was deeply saddened by what I read. A speeding car with 4 passangers inside had rammed into a police roadblock killing 3 policemen and a motorcyclist and 3 out of the 4 passangers in the car instantly.

I felt so sad as i read on each of the victim’s profile. Each of those victims seemed to be good people and they died just because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Some of them were sole breadwinners in their family. I tried to imagine myself in the shoes of their loved ones and I could feel the despair the the grief of the poor family members. 7 people had to die because of a mistake made by 1 person…..its so not worth it……

I drive very regularly these days and sometimes I speed, thinking of what happened in that accident scares me badly. I hope people be more responsible as they drive. I hope they realize that other people’s lives are in their hands as they drive.
